You honestly believe the Cowboys have looked like a good team on both sides of the ball the last few weeks? Not sure what team you’ve been watching. Lol
No, they HAVEN’T played well, but they’re due.

I’ve said it more than once, I’ve never seen the Cowboys play a worst game than they played last week against Washington and ended up winning a playoff game. Not only that, this is the most inconsistent I’ve ever seen Dak look entering the playoffs.

I remember several regular season games where we got totally housed, yet still went on to have good postseasons. Every year is different.

Enjoy Monday night’s game!

I went through the Cowboys history and the last time we saw a debacle close to what we saw last Sunday in a season finale in which the Cowboys made the playoffs, was back in 2007 when they lost to Washington 27-6. We only played our starters the first half and Washington needed a win to make the playoffs. The Cowboys ended up going one and done. What we saw last Sunday was worse. We’ll find out on Monday night if we’re going to enjoy the game. I can assure you a lot of Cowboys fans are going to be holding their breath.

I actually know that the Cowboys are a good team and will probably win on Monday and can beat any team in the league.

If we can protect the ball, we should beat Tampa. That's job one. Beat Tampa Bay.
That’s one of the big jobs and the other big job is running the ball. If we can’t run the ball effectively, the game is going to get put it on Dak’s shoulders and that could lead to turnovers and a very long, frustrating game.

This is a really good football team on both sides of the ball.

A deep playoff run is very possible.

And a Superbowl appearance is not out of the realm of possibilities.

I think some of you are going to be pleasantly surprised Monday night.

Go Cowboys :flagwave:
What happened vs the Skins?

I know our game plan was extremely vanilla, but we looked terrible, especially the O lines run blocking. Our O line is a mess. You would think an O line with 3 future Hall of Famers would be able to run block, at least a little bit! They couldn’t vs the Skins. That is concerning!

Too many. IMHO, too many people can’t enjoy life. I’ll enjoy the game. If we lose, I’ll be mad for a few days, then I’ll get over it, and start counting the days until the draft.

We had a bad game against a division rival in their house. There were several viable reasons. Do I really have to type them all out for you? Of course we all worry, but I try not to let it spoil my good time football routine. I can’t do anything about it anyway.

A team is as strong as it's weakest component.

All that great talent won't be covering Mike Evans. You'd best believe that Tom Brady has learned everything there is to know about this very good defense, particularly the part that make this team very good instead of elite.

This has nothing to do with enjoying life we’re talking about a football game. Just because some fans are discouraged with the team and don’t think they’ll beat the Bucs doesn’t mean they’re miserable people who are down on life. Lol

ONE GAME AT A TIME! This team is 2 didn't different teams, never consistent from game to game
Right. I'm hoping we got our "bad" game out of our system on sunday and monday we'll be gang busters. We can compete with anyone if we don't beat ourselves.

I just don’t dwell too long on losses if there are viable reasons, especially if I believe some of them won’t be a factor in the next game. Anything COULD happen, especially since they have The Goat, but overall the Cowboys have more talent, and SHOULD win.

Great post OP!! Breathe of fresh air from all the 'Sky is Falling' posts around here. I think this team, when healthy and hitting on all cylinders, can definitely hang with any team. It's going to help getting a few key players back in the lineup.

It's been a fun season and the ride isn't quite over yet!! Look forward to MNF (even though I hate that timeslot for a playoff game).

The closer we get to Monday night the more I’m thinking we’ll win.

I think so many people are just so accustomed to “Brady win playoffs” and “Cowboys lose playoffs” that it’s burned into their brains.

Right now, this season, the Bucs are simply not that good of a team.
They benefited heavily from playing in an absolutely trash division.

They have been beaten MANY times this season. Some of them badly. At one point earlier in the season they had a window where they lost 5 of 6. And after their week 11 bye they finished 3-4 down the stretch.

In contrast we did not lose consecutive games all season. We looked bad in week 1 and in week 18. They looked bad MANY weeks.

They are not that good. They lost NINE friggin games this season. We are the better team. I think Dallas will win.
