:huh:Unfortunately I just don't trust the Cowboys coaches to create plays for Luepke.

Didn't you just make a post about this, we have a loaded running back room and an owner who let's a old aging running back get carries. You know this and you post this, you didn't have your coffee I can tell!!

I bet you love iced coffee:mad:

  • Nowhere to Run - Once again, the Cowboys find themselves searching for answers in the running game. At 77.2 yards per game, Dallas is last in the NFL. They're the only team in the NFC without a 100-yard performance by a running back this season. And despite having four-time Pro Bowl veteran Dalvin Cook on the practice squad, there has been no signs the team is looking to elevate him to the roster this week for the first time. Although, the bye week is usually a time to mix up personnel, so perhaps the Cowboys will at least give Cook a shot, to either replace or rotate with Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott.

It shouldn't have but I laughed really hard at that for some reason.
Guy has nothing better to do than to pick EVERYTHING I say out and he bashes me. The post can have 2 million replies on it, he seeks out my posts only lol. It's cool though, just shows you what kind of cat he is lol iced coffee baby lol

I was convinced Luepke had something to add to the offense when he was a rookie. Of course they need to give him some plays. I think whenever they spread the ball around the offense is much better but it seems they want to give the ball to CeeDee on every play and I think that stifles the offense. I would hand off to Luepke and give him some of those throws with him coming out of the backfield. This is the creativity the Cowboys offense lacks.

My case is nothing else is working, so why not try? If you want to limit Ricos touches Luepke could be the answer. We sure know it's not Zeke or Duece.

I love Luepke, but the idea that he is a guy who should be getting a lot of touches is off base IMO. He doesn't seem to have great balance or be as powerful as I expected for a guy his size. Even in short yardage I feel like he has been successful, but it has been more due to the defense not expecting him to get the ball. He doesn't seem to hit the whole hard or fast and with a ton of power. I think he is being used well and suspect he gets 3 or 4 carries and a couple of targets per game and that's about what he should be getting.

Pretty much sums it up. He is not an every down back. But I do think he needs to get a few more plays in during games.
They need to replace Deuce with Cook though.

And, the Zeke haters will not like your post. :muttley::popcorn:

No one is saying he should get a ton of touches. He's not getting any touches some games.

What they're doing to this young man is downright disgusting. Let him have 6-10 touches per game, for Bog's sake. No one is saying he should be the full time RB, but to not use him at all makes zero sense.
