Hunter now is the 3rd down RB , line him up in shot gun and punt the ball

Luepke and Rico should be getting most the snaps. Sprinkle in some Deuce is how I would play it. Do anyone know what's up with Dalvin Cook? It's like we have him in the freezer in the garage for some odd reason.

No one is saying he should get a ton of touches. He's not getting any touches some games.
Good so you agree with me. Not sure why you didn't just say that instead of trying to allude to me saying something I didn't. but...

Omg this again?

Does he get open? No. Can he generate big plays. No.

He's a solid fullback and if your team depends on him getting more or less touches, regardless of how many, then your team is terrible.

I love Luepke, but the idea that he is a guy who should be getting a lot of touches is off base IMO. He doesn't seem to have great balance or be as powerful as I expected for a guy his size. Even in short yardage I feel like he has been successful, but it has been more due to the defense not expecting him to get the ball. He doesn't seem to hit the whole hard or fast and with a ton of power. I think he is being used well and suspect he gets 3 or 4 carries and a couple of targets per game and that's about what he should be getting.
Sooo, then you are arguing against yourself? I'm really not sure what you're trying to say, then. Your post infers that people are claiming he should get the ball a lot. If that's not what you're saying, then maybe you should be more clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree on your last point.

Honestly I think Luepke should take on some of the 3rd down work that Zeke is currently getting.

And using him in the RedZone might work too. We haven't got much as it is in the RedZone. May try him there. He's a physical runner anyway.

Small sample size, but out of this list CDL, Cooks, Turpin, Tolbert, Luepke, Flournoy, Dowdle, Brooks, Luepke is #3 in Yards per catch, with a 13.0 YPC
CDL is at 14.6 YPC and Brooks is at 15.4

Hot caramel oatmilk latte guy here. I agree with the observation that Luepke is the 3rd down RB now, and he's shown to be the best option there. I think he could add more to the run game considering the scheme, but I'm happy Luepke is doing well with his workload.
