Malachi Lawrence is a beast

team has made a string of bad picks.

Mazi, Guyton, Schoon, Marist

Picking a player in the 1st, who is clearly not the same as Eze, is a gamble.

Especially since Guyton can’t block.
NFL teams beg to differ. You can want a replacement for Guyton, but do we have to draft one in the first? We had plenty of other picks if they deemed it a priority but they obviously did not.

Ya he is a little raw, but he is a player. He has Maxx Crosby level upside. Cowboys has a done a great job getting talent onnthe edge outside the top 20. Ezeiruaku has tremendous upside too and had no business going out of the 1st round. Him and Lawrence are probably tiered similarly. Ezeiruaku's bend is elite, 3 cone was top 96 percentile. Lawrence is a more of a burst athlete. 10 yard split was 1.59
That's what I see as well. Eze has really good lateral agility. That helped him make some stops in the run game where he was able to fake an inside move and then quickly move to the outside to hit the running back.

I'm not sure Lawrence's lateral agility is the same. He's a fairly tall player and sometimes those players have problems making sudden cuts. He obviously has great burst, though.

I know there's only two-plus inches difference between them, but it's kind of like with defensive backs, longer legs can make it more difficult to gather and cut out of your breaks.

My brother is three to four inches taller than me and could easily outrun me because his long legs gave him a longer stride, but I could dodge him because while he was striding with his length, I was cutting without having to break stride.

I’ve got this one.

How Irvin’s people actually let him loose on the cover of Out, shirtless with gladiator armor, on is wild, but im all about it.
And pretty well manicured thirst trap to boot

This is a guy that would do lines and then lift at the teams facility at all hours of the night butt naked. I say Michael do Michael as long as there are no scissors involved

He's a physical specimen. Like a lot of former NFL busts.

Here's hoping he can apply that physique effectively at this level.
Yep, good call. He nailed the looks good in shorts part.

What I think helps Lawrence….he is a rare first round pick that is not at all considered the biggest acquisition for the team this offseason.

The pressure is less, and he will play under rotation regardless. He just just can’t get hurt and miss a lot of camp. That’ll set him back more than we want to see.
