That's what I see as well. Eze has really good lateral agility. That helped him make some stops in the run game where he was able to fake an inside move and then quickly move to the outside to hit the running back.
I'm not sure Lawrence's lateral agility is the same. He's a fairly tall player and sometimes those players have problems making sudden cuts. He obviously has great burst, though.
I know there's only two-plus inches difference between them, but it's kind of like with defensive backs, longer legs can make it more difficult to gather and cut out of your breaks.
My brother is three to four inches taller than me and could easily outrun me because his long legs gave him a longer stride, but I could dodge him because while he was striding with his length, I was cutting without having to break stride.
