I, and a couple of others on the board, had hoped we'd have a shot at this kid, looks like he decided to stay. That's also one less highly ranked CB as a buffer to allow better talent to come to us, I think it changes a lot of boards.

Wow. That sucks.

Not cause we had a chance in hell at getting him (we didn't), but because it pushes some of the other corners like Cason up in the draft.

I just don't understand the decision. He was the consensus #1 CB in the draft. What does he have to gain? It's not like anyone would be stupid enough to vote OSU into another championship game.

I don't know about that decision - neither will he when he blows his knee out.

That decision makes no sense at all. That's the biggest head scratcher I've had in quite a while. Does anyone know his reasoning for making the decision to return to OSU?

He is not going to get picked any higher if he even has as good a year as this one was. If he is spectacular next year he might move up 4-5 spots into the top 10, at best 7-8. I cannot see how the risk of serious injury or having a bad year is worth it.

"I don't feel that I've accomplished everything I can accomplish in college football, and there's still a lot for me to conquer and shoot for: the national championship, another Big Ten championship, the Thorpe Award," Jenkins said in a statement. "And I really look forward to the honors and perks associated with being a senior on this team.

"We have a great schedule next year, which should be a whole lot of fun. I'm on track to graduate next spring in communications, which will make my mom very happy."
