Thought I just heard one of the guys on ESPN say that Kelly wasn't going to partake in the combine stuff.

Anyone know why? I think this guy is a hell of a WR and if its nothing too serious, could be a good thing. Maybe he falls to #22.

Grab a CB at #28 and a RB in the 2nd round.

Is he fully healthy yet?

He did not play in most of the Fiesta Bowl due to injuries.

He's got a tight hamstring and a lingering shoulder injury, that's not believed to be serious.

This is the guy I want Dallas to take. This increase the chances he's there at 22. Most were expecting him to go in the 10-20 range with work outs.

The guy is a beast.... I wanted Dallas to take Dwayne Bowe last year so bad and I'm especially disappointed we didn't now...

22 - Malcolm Kelly
28 - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
2nd RND - Ray Rice

"Championship"

Doubt Kelly lasts till the 22nd pick, especially if DeSean falls. He becomes the highest rated WR in that case.

He is on my list for players I want in the first round.

Then again, he is on my list of players I think will be gone by 22.

No doubt Kelly is a playmaker and I would love to get him but like many I have doubts he will be around when our pick comes up

Is Rodgers-Cromartie that good or is he just benefitting from his cousin's success? I've never seen him play so I don't know much about him.

I've always thought he would be picked before DeSean. Now, that DeSean is coming up short with his mesaurements, Kelly will be gone before 22 for sure.

Who cares, we are getting McFadden anyways.

Prospects dealing with minor injuries are in a difficult spot. They dont want to appear soft by not participating but they don't want to put up numbers that don't reflect what their true ability, either. Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly finds himself in just such a situation with a lingering but relatively minor thigh injury. He has wisely chosen not to run as that would put him at risk of running a slow time or, even worse, aggravating the injury. He is already considered one of the top receiver prospects so he has more to lose than he does to gain. If he turns in a good time during his pro day everything all will be fine.

Malcolm Kelly said that he measured in around 6'3 5/8 and 224 pounds.

He's not going to run or lift as he said that a quad injury that he originally thought was just a thigh bruise was actually a sprain and he didn't get proper treatment for it.

The only time I watched him was in the Sr Bowl and he really impressed. It was the first time he was matched up with top competition and he really excelled and had two pics in the game I believe.

I'm not sure I'm totally sold on him, but man would I love to exchange our 2006 pics back and take Cromartie instead of Carpenter. SD picked him right after we picked Carp...Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

A few months back watching NFL network I think it was Mayock that said he has the best hands of any WR in the draft...I think it was Mayock.

I really love this guy and he's by far my favorite reciever coming out. I understand he's not doing the running cause of a leg injury that they feel like he could either reinjure or possibly hinder his 40 time and that wouldn't help him in any way.

So I'm not shocked he wont work out cause he's got more to lose than gain by doing so.

He does have excellent hands. I remember when Sam Bradford was first starting out as the QB for Oklahoma. Many of his passes to Kelley were very low and just not delivered cleanly. It didn't matter to Kelley. He snatched every pass near him, be it well above his head or 4 inches below his knees. He would do this in full stride and not miss a beat.

I love how he catches the ball.

Overwhelming mock drafts have him long gone before we pick. However, 3-4 recently have him falling to us with our 22nd pick. Doubt it happens but we can always hope. In fact latest GBN 2 round mock draft have us drafting Malcolm Kelly & Rodgers-Cromartie with our 2 first rounders & ILB Beau Bell in the 2nd round. I could easily live with all 3 of them.
