These seem to be 2 players that maybe aren't good enough or the measurables aren't good enough to be full time NFL starters. But man it seems when they're in the game, they make plays for us. How lucky are we to have them at our disposal. I can't wait to see how they continue to help this team, please give your input!

Pretty sure Davis will be on the team, as he has appeared to latch onto RB2.

Houston? The signing of Miller may spell his end.
Agreed. Barring injury, Davis should be RB2. The Miller signing is definitely about leadership more than anything else, and might cost Houston his spot. But he won’t be out of work long, whether it’s on the PS or somewhere else in the league.

Izzy better than Davis.

I don't fully get why people are so quick to bring up Houston when talking about players you could cut to get others on the 53 —and that's almost exactly how people are phrasing it, and then with the next (or immediately previous) breath, bringing up how he is absolutely one of the best pass rushers—an area in which this team was sorely lacking last season.

Loved Malik since the first training camp he showed up here.

Dude just has it. Too small to start, but very productive as a backup.

I think Houston is pretty safe but I think Davis is (still) a practice squad guy.

Davis is a nice player but he's redundant with about 50 other backs in the league.
I hope you're right about Houston., and I don't think you're wrong about Davis, but he probably knows this offense like the back of his hand by now. Although I'm not sure exactly how much that matters.

I like both of them, Davis is our RB2 in my opinion and Houston is always making plays when he's on the field. They may not be starters, but I want them on the roster.
I think in the back of the coat's mind you're probably right I mean trying to find something better but just like Rico when healthy it took him a while but when he got noticed the finalist said know what you are rb2..

However the concerning for me is I believe Israel could have been that guy I know we all have our cats but watching any practice videos and scrimmage videos and then when he was in the game the other night he has both sides and speed a lot of speed but we're talking about big speed things that this coaching staff likes but he got hurt They all got hanged up

Phil got hurt, AGAIN, I mean he's Not giving himself the opportunities make this seem so i'm already moving him out, Unfortunate because I if healthy and given a chance he will find his way just like David and Rico to prove he can do it right now he's gonna be one of those bubble cuts..

Yes right now if we had to get tomorrow he's mild RB-2,

If Davis is your RB2 you dont have an RB2

Williams was ‘healthy’ and ‘played dinged up’ last year because it was his contract year. Guess what this is not? His contract year. With a physical back like Williams with his injury history and a QB like Dak who NEEDS a great run game in the playoffs, your RB2 should be starter quality and that is not Davis

I didn't think he was very good his first couple years here but in the last couple years (or maybe even just this last year?) he looks quicker, which usually doesn't happen with players.

I don't think so we're gonna go heavy on the Defensive line anyway this get more rotational it's gonna be more bodies like Seattle had Even New England not a single double ditch sack on either of those Super Bowl teams So if they can contribute like you stink and he's gonna be here because their other dudes can get that there are a lot of safety on this team that won't make it because we've already almost have the charts at S...

Yes we know people are dying fans The blue hards that think the media on Facebook group pages and all that but I don't think Houstons jobs in peril at all..

I say this because people don't want to hear this but it's also always like this the defense line more so Is he by committee They're gonna rotate all those dudes in out They don't want single failure wanted to come for everywhere they don't tip their hand I believe he's part of that I see He'll be at the bottom of that list he could be cut another path rushes on his team too that could be got over him..

So I think safety position particularly on the they have a lot like far too many and they're not gonna go along because that's what I believe So they'll eat more on defensive line or you want to call it front 7'cause those all that linebackers are not really defensive end they belong at linebacker group...

There aren't many guys on this team that can do what Houston does he's more of A pure full out full ever guys a pass rusher... Think he'll live on this faster longer than people think..

Davis has no real weaknesses. His disrespect is bizarre. Houston is short but makes plays. I think being an OLB in this d is just what he needed.

Think he'd be good trade bait, more than a Sam Williams would get you

Agree!

Izzy better than Davis.
Izzy better than BLUE

Good point but look at what we already have in blue and moffah late round picks or undrafted not much better
I'm not seeing it so far. Davis looks like the best we have behind Williams.
Exactly
