game started out great with julius running a 77 yard dash..

demarcus crashing into brees...

i was on cloud nine there for a minute...........then it became a night of horrors.

sean payton has done one hell of a job with the saints. they will be a team to be reckoned with for many years.

this loss hurts for so many reasons but especially for the fact we were basically controlling our own destiny with seattle losing.

go st.louis!!

i hope we can bounce back from this painful loss saturday night and again christmas against two teams who will be giving their all.

i could not even concentrate at work today what with the hangover and the beating the cowboys took.

I honestly thought the game was over before it started after Dallas got that early TD and Brees was being eaten up by our pass rush....

Little did I know how horrible it would all end up

Me too.
I suggest a "grief corner" sticky thread for fans to pour their grief and hopefully feel better :)

Ya know, it's almost like things went too well too early...If they would have been in a bit more of a dogfight...

Ah, hell with it...they still would have kicked our rear ends.. :bang2:

You aint the only one hurting, lane. This game completely caught me off guard. A loss could be expected, but to be dominated like that was devastating. And that smug look on Payton's face just made it worse. I feared that the pupil would beat the teacher, but not like that. And why couldn't Romo find anybody open? This is not the first time he has faced pressure, but it is the first time that pressure has really rattled him. And don't let me get started on the defense. I hope this was just a bad game for the whole team and we get back to normal Saturday night.

I hope I am wrong, but I cannot shake the feeling that we are going to go into the tank to end the year. I can see 10-6 or worse as a real possibility, and a quick exit if we go to the playoffs.

The D is really not good. Romo may have hit a wall. He needs good coaching to get beyond it. I have no confidence in our coaches in times like this because we must adjust and I think we suck at that.

What...? This past game was just a tuneup game...for when it really counts (coming this Saturday). Nothing here...move on...

Don't worry, be happy...:D

Well... like in a HeavyWeight fight... we landed the first HAYMAKER... and it was fast and they didnt see it coming... wobbled them..... then we landed a good right cross..... had them on the ropes.... they swing off the ropes and land HAYMAKERS.... we proceed to jab at them ever so lightly for the rest of the fight.... they continue with HAYMAKERS....

It wasnt that difficult to get over... they took our best shot in beginning and then did what we should be doing... they put us away... fast and hard.

Um, if we lose against Atlanta, 10-6 will be the best we can do. Of course you agree (or were you talking about the early exit? That's obvious.)

Yeah, I thought we were ready to steam roll them and then they started to dink and dunk us and I knew we were in trouble as soon as we started to throw on first down down by 7.

we will not finish 10-6 if we don't beat atlanta.

we will probably finish 9-7 or 8-8.

atlanta is a must win to continue this season imo.

thanks for asking iago.
