Colorado man-- who police say was curious to see what being shot felt like-- reportedly sustained a non-life-threatening injury Wednesday night after he fired a single bullet into his foot.
The Denver Post reported that Adam Hirtle, 30, told a Colorado Springs officer that he purposely shot himself in the foot while inside his garage. Police told FoxNews.com that Hirtle used a .22 caliber, semi-automatic handgun.
The paper said initial reports indicated that the shooting was accidental.

He wasn't that curious. He used a .22. If he wanted the full feeling, a .357 or 44 mag would have done a better job. Weed I'd a wonderful thing.

I had a similar experience as a {dumb} child. I wanted to conduct a experiment to see if a nail would actually go through my boot. Much to my surprise it did and I awarded for my stupidity with a trip to the hospital and a tetanus shot.

LOL...... I've done that as well. Working on Construction sight when I was younger but it was definitely not anything I intended to do.
