I am sure you guys noticed how we were playing man coverage last night in the first half. Then in the second half we switched back to zone.

I think I understand why we are playing zone and it is Anthony Henry.

What do you guys think?

Without a good pass rush, our Man to Man system was getting eaten alive.

We have good CB's but none can cover forever.

Plus, we know about our problems at FS.

I think the move to a Zone D was effective. Caught Vick off guard.

Also stopped the little swings out to the FB.

But a Zone D can be easily dissected. I'm not sure it's the answer, but with what we have, I think it's the best solution for the short run.

Yes both Henry and the FS position are causing us to play more zone. probably will continue to see even more zone next week against philly and their passing attack

Thats a good point on our pass rush. Maybe this is what BP meant by we die a little slower.

I saw a few mistakes by Watkins but I thought he played well. Anytime the play was close to him he appeared to be in position. The over the shoulder INT was a really nice catch.

I would agree with that too. I'm not a big zone guy but I think that's the way it's going to be the rest of the way.

Probably.

At least with Garcia you don't have to worry about him throwing the ball a great distance.

It was.

We had some folks on the board "be little" that play but look up how many picks Davis has garnered over the last two seasons. And for that matter look at how many forced fumbles the bullet magnet has had...

Watkins also takes much better angles on running plays.
