Obviously like what Quinn’s done with the d… but one complaint I think is merited is he’s stubborn at times. Two games come to mind… last week and against the raiders.

Both games he’s using predominantly man coverage. Both games Anthony browns being picked on. Also both games the opposing qb made big plays with their legs.

I understand why he’s running man to help avoid confusion. But vs some of these mobile qbs wouldn’t it make sense to adjust to more zone? It only doesn’t work if you can’t rush the passer… but we can.

Not only A Brown .. but Jourdan Lewis was getting beaten and sliced up as well.
With Dlaw and Gregory out ... we could not get the rush pressure and disruption we needed vs Raiders Derek Carr - and that surely did help matters downfield.

- What i saw with other NFL teams, that managed to beat Radas and Arizona... was teams plummeling their QBs,
..disrupting their timing and making it uneasy for them in the pocket,.so they had (forced) to resorting to hurried and throwing early than
they wanted, errand passes, incompletions, sacks, and hit just before the throw, ..
Neither one of Carr or Murray seemed disrupted, uneasy,..

- yes the secondary did not play well .. (even our best DB, Diggs beaten on a big deep throw vs AJ Green in Az game) but i cannot say our front that we depend upon so
very heavily against these type QBs ...played well either. o_O

If we ran man coverage in cards game why was the middle of the field open all day. When the guy catches the ball there is 2 guys standing there in there zones. Neither seemed to be assigned to the reciever.

Also in neither game did we have any Offense till the last quarter. When we are putting points on the board instead of floundering then we dictate the game and opposing offenses has to go more pass and we can pin our ears back. Our Defense plays better with lead which I am sure most teams do..

Your right. And we had Parsons as a spy in the cards game and we should have been sending him and the house. Get in this face quick and he can’t run far and has to get rid of it..
