Man we gotta get back to glory!

It seems like finally, this years team is shaping up thanks to better drafting and perhaps some better position coaching. Not having a "Herschel Walker" type trade means it took longer obviously, but it feels like we're turning the corner with the young talent we're assembling.

Can't wait for the season to start!

The arrow is certainly pointing up. Can’t wait for training camp then some preseason games.

This team doesn't get any benefit of the doubt with me. They are crap until proven otherwise.

9-7 isn't crap...even if you want to say 8-8 bc Philly gifted that last win they still aren't crap...

The browns are crap...were just going through the up down season trend...and thankfully this is an up year

Jerry regrets wasting Romo and Witten but he is set to waste this OL if he is going to sit on $10 million in cap space and not fix obvious weak spots on defense when upgrades are sitting out there or available by trade.

This is what this fan base has come to.
When you think 9-7 isn't crap you will accept anything. I've seen this team win four super bowls in my lifetime. Anything else less is crap.

The Cowboys day is coming. What I like best about the Cowboys now is the way they are building the roster for long term success. They are drafting well and managing the salary cap well. I wish they would be more agressive in FA and we may see some of that next year with the large amount of salary cap apce available. It's a young mans game and the Cowboys should be in the top 5 youngest teams in the league. Overall they are heading in the right direction I just hope Garrett can deliver. This year might be his last chance. In any case, there are a lot of things to feel good about this team and Cowboy Nation should be pretty excited for their future.

Stop it Jip, the way this team played an got to 9-7 was crap and embarrassing. The performance with the season on the line against Seattle was am abomination. And along with the Denver game just to name a few. This team was not good last year when it mattered the most. Being a team that went 13-3 and going 9-7 and missing the playoffs the next year isn't good. This is a mediocre ball club. That is top heavy on talent and thin on depth.

We've gone from everything becoming a Dez thread to everything becoming an Earl Thomas thread.

Miss these days my Cowboy brothers....!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing. Completely agree. It has been a long time since this team showed any real grit. I think the culture is not set up for success. Roster is pretty solid but I have zero confidence in Jason Garrett, I hope I am wrong.

That’s history. I see no reason to expect it to repeat itself with our current mgmt in place.

We’re all grateful and very proud for our storied past but it doesn’t define who we are now.

Within our dysfunctionally ran football franchise this era its truly remarkable we are able to field a fairly competitive team at all.

Same story, different year. 20+ years I’ve tried to remain optimistic (most of the time) but until I see results this team is nothing but the same as all the others who never got the job done. Different faces, same results until proven otherwise.

I been saying for a long time...how often and for how long had they told us...this team has talent...well they lied or if if did have talent, then it is the coaching. I am tired of all the excuses as well. Their is always some reason why the team broke down. Only to hear the same thing the next off season. The same lip service over and over.

Well I am not buying into it. Show us on the field. Stop the talk, stop the slogans or the cute sayings, stop the t-shirts. Just go and show us.
I still blame the coaching more than the lack of talent and depth. I can see some good things happening, but not getting sucked into it.

Show us by winning and going deep into the playoffs is my opinion. Anything less is a failure unless in the NFCCG we lose to a team by simply getting beat on the field with no coaching gaffes.

Until we find some real coaching, I’m not expecting much. Hope to be wrong, but that’s the approach I’m taking.

The positional coaching hopefully has improved.
