Good point. I had forgotten about that. I just might have held up enough to change the injury from a season long one to a month long one.

That's probably why he hurt his ankle and groin too. Those knee braces limit the flexibility of the knee (side-to-side) and the force, with nowhere else to go, is transferred to the peripheral joints, the hip/groin and the ankle.
