Not another Lawson over Carpenter thread.

Lawson wouldn't have hit the field for us until the time Carpenter did and Lawson is another Ware, not a run stopping LB.

Carpenter isn't making 20 tackles a game, but if you watch closely runs to his side are getting stretched out. He's holding up at the point of attack and the run has to go around him to the outside which gives the pursuit an extra second to get there.

Of course we want Carp to shed those tackles (he will in time) and blow people up, but he's not playing too bad right now against the run. Against the pass, no one is playing too great.

Lawson has been hopeless since that fluke 2 sack game back in week two...

I would have recommended hinting at the point in the OP. As it stands, it's just a summary of stats.

Wimbley is playing well. He's the real deal.
