Bill Parcells said know who you are playing with in football. However, I like Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry, " A man's got to know his limitations". Nobody in the Cowboys organization knows their limitations. So I will do like the Cowboys offense and defense and do the same thing each week by posting the same thing each week.

Jerry Jones thinks he is a GM. Jason Garrett thinks he is a Head Coach hired by the man that thinks he is a GM. Kellen Moore "boy genius" thinks he is an NFL offensive coordinator hired by the man that thinks he is a head coach that was hired by the man that thinks he is a GM. Dak Prescott thinks he is not a gun slinging QB with play calls by an a boy genius that thinks he is a an OC, hired by the man that thinks he is a a head coach, hired by the man that thinks he is a GM.

"Man's got to know his limitations" Dak Prescott can not throw the ball +40 times in a game and you think you are going to comeback and win a game. I do not blame Dak he obviously does what he is told. All others; Kellen "Boy Genius" Moore, Jason "the clapper" Garrett, and Jerry "Dumbo GM" Jones are the unqualified incompetent decision makers that do not know there limitations.

Lets look at the most incompetent act by The Clapper, Boy Genius, and Dumbo GM combined:

Trailing 7-3, Prescott and the Cowboys marched down the field and got to the Jets 6, but stalled. Elliott lost a yard on third down and Jason Garrett opted to go for it on four-and-2 from the 7. Prescott took the ball on a keeper, but was stuffed by rookie Quinnen Williams for a loss of a yard - and a turnover on downs. When you on the road and the score is 7-3 with +3 minutes in the half, coaching 101 manual says kick the field goal. If you do not trust your field goal kicker (who your owner and real coach says you have to keep), you kick the field goal to make sure the kicker gets fired. If you stupid play call was to line your RB 10yds deep at 6 yard line when you have to gain less than a yard and you fail, kick the field goal. Kick the field goal.

Darnold came out on the very next play and found a wide-open Anderson zipping down the field and hit him in stride for a 92-yard touchdown to put the Jets up 14-3 with 3:34 left in the opening half. Oh by the way the Kicker that the Dumbo GM told the Clapper Coach he had to keep missed another Field goal that would have been points enough to win the game. Maher, who also had field goals of 50 and 32 yards, later missed a 40-yarder that sailed wide right 51 seconds into the fourth quarter. Jimmy Johnson would have sent him to the asthma field last year.

Jerry should have left Elliott in Cabo, he was used more by his agent and Marshall Faulk. They knew Elliott limitations and got him out of Dallas, not in Los Angeles, and away from Las Vegas. Dak Prescott has never threw the ball +40 times in a game in his entire football life until he got to Dallas. He got to Dallas with Zeke Elliott as the top 5 pick not vice versa. Troy Aikman the no.1 pick overall, and Hall of Fame QB but rarely threw the ball 40 times in games with the no.1 leading rusher and all time NFL leading rusher Emmitt Smith in his back field. When he did toss the ball 40 times+ in a game, It almost always resulted in a lost. So what do you think Dak Prescott, who was a spread option running QB in high school and college, limitations are offense? Has Dak improved as a passer? Yes. But he is not Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Brees, Mahomes or Darnold. He is not going to throw you to the Super Bowl like Marino, Elway, or even Ferragano (google him).

Too bad no one on the Cowboys know their limitations. If they did Jimmy Johnson would have retired as the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys in 2010 after drafting Randy Moss in 1998 to pair with Aikman, Irvin, and Smith and winning 7 Super Bowls including 3 in a row from 1992-1994, and 2 in a row 1998-1999. But I regress. Ezekiel Elliott is the best player on the Cowboys team, he is the highest paid player on the Cowboys team, and he is the most seldom used player in 2019 on the Cowboys team. Dak Prescott was the Cowboy gods gift to incompetent fools only to be used as required in background to Zeke (old saying "God takes care of babies, monkeys and fools. guess which one are you?". Troy Aikman knew his limitations and chose background to Emmitt. Too bad Boy Genius, The Clapper, and the Dumbo GM do not know their limitations or anyone else limitations. Mans got to know his limitations:

Maher made a 62 yard field goal in New York. That kick goes in 3 % of the time with most kickers not even being able to attempt it. Maher didn't cost us anything yesterday. Falling down by 20 points is what is losing us football games.
Along with the many penalties we had. Basically the same ish that has plagued the Cowboys for over a decade.

We lost the game when the refs called back a TD to Witten on a god awful "PI" flag. We came out in the 2nd half and looked good. Score would of been 13-21 with 8 left in the 3rd. Play changed the game. The refs in the NFL this season are some of the worst I've ever seen.

He was a factor in the loss. He doesn't get a pass missing an easy FG just because he made one from 62.

This roster is not as talented as most fans thought.

The offensive line is crumbling. Tyron and Frederick are no longer All-Pros and Martin is being overwhelmed. Zeke is as good as the line is. Dak is a mid tier talent. Our receivers are injury prone and inconsistent. Our TEs are old or average.

The defense is what shocks me. It looked last season like D-Law, Jaylon, LVE, M. Collins, Byron, Chido and X. Woods were becoming elite players. They’ve all taken steps back this season.

We just were not effective moving the ball much in the 1st half.

Drive #1- 2yard run, 3 yard pass, incomplete pass- punt

Drive #2- moved the ball, FG

Drive #3- run for 0, 13 yard pass, run for 0 gain, pass incomplete, 3 yard run- punt

Drive #4- had a big 23 yard pass but ended with zeke getting -1 yards on 3rd and 1 and then Dak getting -1 yards on 4th and 2.

Drive #5- 1yard pass, 7 yard pass, pass incomplete

Overall Zeke averaged 3.8 yards per carry and it was just not enough to help sustain drives consistently. Dak was forced to throw more to keep us in the game.

That game should've never came down to (another) field goal. Hire any kicker you like. The problem is why we're using him so often - predictable offense that can't finish drives against a defense with a pulse.

To make matters worse, after (another) failed red zone trip the defense gives up a 92 yard bomb. Sorry, but the bleepin' kicker - who some have become obsessed with - isn't at the top of my list of problems.

CC, throwing truth bombs!

It was when they gave it to Zeke more that they had success.

There is no pressure to kick a 62 yard field goal. If you make it, it its wow what a leg. If you miss it, its that was a long butt kick.

But when trying to comeback, a 40 yard kick in the top of the 4th quarter trailing 21-9 means a lot and is pressure. Last time I checked math 22+3=25 which is > than 24.

We started running behind the Left guard. 2nd drive of te 3rd quarter all 3 10yard runs in a row came when we ran behind the left guard.

On the field, that's where the game was lost.
The game was won and lost by scoring points and not scoring points. You need a 1 point win 19 times to go undefeated in a season and win a Super Bowl. So your kicker better not hit a 62 yard field goal and miss a 40 yard field goal.

Offense, Defense, SPECIAL TEAMS. Ask Larry Allen what to do with your kicker when you drive the ball and have your kicker not do his only job:

Do your Job! Maher has been inconsistent for 2 years.

I saw that whole non hand slap thing and I was embarrassed for Garrett.

He has lost the respect of the players. Got to go.

Some valid points. But let me correct you. Garrett doesn't think he is a head coach and Moore doesn't think e is a boy genius. Jerry thinks Garrett is a head coach and Moore is a genius.

But I do agree with your thoughts on the 4th down play down 7-3. After getting stuff on 3rd down, the right call at that point was to kick the FG, especially since you know your team plays better in the 2nd half and they get the ball first in the 2nd half. Kick the FG there and make it 7-6. Hope the defense can keep the Jets out of the end zone until the half. Getting stuffed on 4th down gave the Jets a huge momentum boost. This is one of my issues with JG. He doesn't seem to grasp the flow of the game or his own team. This isn't about being conservative. If it were later in the game down by 7, I might have gone for it too. Its about knowing your team and the other team.

But at the same time, perhaps he lacks confidence in his kicker and his defense. This defense is playing on its heels all the time - weird change from last year. Giving up that TD just before the half, after the offense failed to move the football on its possession was just awful. But this is why JG should have been trying to slow the game down in the first half, limiting Jets' possessions.

We lost this game because we came out in the first half with zero energy I'm still blaming coaching
