It doesn't surprise me considering that PTI is a bunch of DC homers. If Manziel had given the bird to Dallas or NY or Philly they would have done a segment on it but they wouldn't go the lengths they went.

Manziel was never known for his maturity...he may yet get an Acutane endorsement though, so he shouldn't blow that.

More immaturity from this kid. Some of it should be expected but this was just flat out stupid.

Biggest Manziel fan here but the finger was severely immature but I did like that it was towards the Commanders.

I can't wait till he flames out. I was all for drafting Bridgewater in the 1st round and said I wouldn't draft Manziel even if he was available in the 3rd. Never understood the love for this guy.

Glad Dallas did not take him, his action up to this point would have had the media pounding Dallas.

Would you do this on the job? OK, some do, but it's still a bad idea. Manziel has a new job in Cleveland and until he earns the starting job, keep a lower profile.

Manziel may end up being what Randy Moss was supposed to be, a problem child who was passed on for being too risky an acquisition...except I don't think he has the ability to give people buyer's remorse as Moss did for a few years before becoming the problem child brat that allowed him to fall in the '98 draft to begin with.

True. I would say even a bigger issue is being a QB and being immature is a lot different than a WR who is a diva or immature. As starting QB the team looks to him to lead the way

Oh no I wouldn't do this on a new job or an established job. What he did was beyond stupid, but the one thing I took joy from was it was towards the Commanders.

Didn't help Todd Marinovich, Ryan Leaf and almost destroyed Kerry Collins, who although he eventually matured developed too late to be worthy of his draft status.

No surprise. He ran a spread offense in college. Never had to really huddle and command any type of respect from his teammates. When in trouble, he just ran around and threw it to Evans, who was a man among boys on the field. None of that will happen for him in the pros. His teammates already made comments about the huge difference of Hoyer in the huddle compared to Manziel. Night and day. He doesn't have a grasp for that yet. The game is still way too fast for him.
