Manziel Indicted By Dallas County Grand Jury

DALLAS (KRLD-AM) – Sources in the Dallas County District Attorney’s office tell L.P. Phillips of KRLD-AM, Johnny Manziel has been indicted by a Dallas County Grand Jury on a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury charge.

The grand jury reviewed evidence in the assault case against former NFL quarterback Manziel, Thursday, April 21.

The 23-year-old quarterback is accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley several times while driving from an uptown Dallas bar back to her home in Fort Worth.

***************************************

Sources also said there was an out-of-court civil settlement between Manziel and Crowley over the issue. But at this time there isn’t any indication what the settlement may be.

Wow. Don't know if I've ever seen such a high profile player fall so quickly. Such an incredible waste.

Not sure why. They virtually have nothing, which is why he wasn't even arrested.

Unless they have new information, but that hasn't been said.

This guy is going to be dead soon. Hope he seeks help.

Were there really that many people that ever wanted him here to begin with? I don't remember that being a very large crowd.

Hey...since it's in Texas, do you guys and gals think Little Johnny can make an "Affluenza" defense claim? LOL!

Disclaimer: not making light of the charges he faces...

I saw it on the news, and it said at end that, he would turn himself in, then post bond, and leave lol.
So this is nothing but a formality, and some wasted money by johnny and taxpayers.
If he pays the girl off, i doubt he would get convicted on this.

There was a certain percentage of folks wanting JF. Certainly not half, but I bet it was more than 10 percent of people around here wanting him.
I remember there were billboards all over Houston trying to get the Texans to draft him.lol
