I know many here are against bringing him in but I am all for it. He would certainly be cheap. See what he has through training camp and make your decision from there. I think the kid can play and evidently he had a great workout yesterday. See what the real Dak has but at least we have raised the talent level at the qb position. Come on down Johnny...

Johnny gets a lot of crap .... but he was stuck on the Browns . WHos the last QB that did good with them ? Their FO was also a mess .... **** rolls down hill . The guy could easy be an OK back up if not practice squad QB that could grow to more

A lot of people forget just how good of a football player he was @ A&M. Unfortunately, the worst case scenario played out for him by landing in Cleveland. Being drafted by the Browns would make many a good man drink until they couldn't walk and then drink some more. I'm totally on board with bringing dude in and letting him compete for a job. Guessing that he would surprise a lot of people if, in fact, his 'Cleveland Habit' is a thing of the past.

If he wouldn't have showed up drunk to practice or lied about where he was and end up on TMZ in Vegas. Guy was a total embarrassment to an organization that was more than ready to give home everything he needed.

Cooper Rush is Dak's backup. If we need a 3rd qb, we can stash one on the practice squad.

If he wouldn't have showed up drunk to practice or lied about where he was and end up on TMZ in Vegas. Guy was a total embarrassment to an organization that was more than ready to give home everything he needed.

They chose Hoyer over him . Besides that he was young and dumb ... I dont know too many people that have not done stupid things when they were young. I could not imagine myself at that age with that money and fame. I was a terror as a Marine on a LncCpl salary . Browns FO was not the right one for him ... he needed structure and a short leash , browns were not able or willing it seems

For that matter we could stash Cooper on the practice squad. Much rather have Manziel to push Dak and if Dak doesn't work out then I have Manziel on the cheap.
