Gonna act just like Eli...

Do you think he'd actually say this? This is what happens when some guy starts a rumor and finally makes its way to the headlines. How many reports have we seen about this team liking this guy at this spot and then 20 min later a new report it's not true. Just rumors and bull$hit. Moving the draft 2 weeks has caused plenty of this crap.

Knowing what kind of entitled ****** Manziel can be, yeah, I can believe he'd say something like that.

I don't blame him, nobody wants to play for a loser franchise like Jacksonville, however it is not very "PR" to publicly say it.

Makes him look like a dick, just like Eli Manning.

I agree, a whole lot of players could use some PR training.

Though I wonder what he actually was asked and what he stated. There is no quote there - just someone saying he wouldnt be thrilled about it.

I'm sure more info will be coming soon.

If you were Manziel and knew how bad the Jags were wouldn't you say the same?

Not surprised if he said it; he can be a little prick some of the time.

At the same time really cannot blame him.

I see Manziel as a another doug flutie with less class. And probably not as good in the long run. NOT that flutie was all that.

I actually like the moves Jacksonville has made recently.
HC: Gus Bradley
GM: David Caldwell

I don't think they're knuckleheads, at least.

I've also heard that Manziel himself isn't wild about the idea of landing in Jacksonville, one of the NFL's smaller markets, and that the Jaguars would not be his first choice of employers. It's not a preference based on people, only location. But Manziel doesn't get to choose his new workplace address, and quarterback-needy Jacksonville remains very much a possibility as his ultimate destination. There was a Houston Chronicle report on Wednesday morning that had momentum building for the Manziel-Jaguars marriage to unfold Thursday night.

Probably should put "Rumor" in the heading, WG.

Eli refused to play for SD even had Daddy Manning talking about not wanting to go to SD

He was drafted as the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and immediately traded to the New York Giants, who in return gave up a package highlighted by fourth overall selection Philip Rivers.

His concern may lie in the possibility that they get moved to London.

Have you seen the obscene tax rates in England? It would cut his income by more than half, considering the tax rates and the ridiculous cost of living there.
