Hankins is an impressive athlete for his size. He is nimble and quick with his feet at 320 pounds
Hankins actually does a great job of collapsing the pocket and making plays in the backfield on his own.

2 Phillip Thomas. FS. Fresno State 6-1 #215

Blessed with good physical traits and even more impressive instincts and toughness, Thomas has proven himself to be a natural playmaker over four starting seasons with the Bulldogs. He's responsible for producing 20 turnovers (13 interceptions, six forced fumbles, one fumble recovery) over his career

3 Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas 6-3 #315

While Bailey typically lines up at right guard, Arkansas frequently switches its linemen for strong-side and weak-side responsibilities, so Bailey has experience on the left side, as well.
A naturally massive man, Bailey shows impressive quickness off the snap and can knock defenders off the ball in the running game. He's athletic enough to handle blocking on the move - a requirement in an Arkansas scheme that often requires the guards to pull and block at the second level.

4 Nico Johnson, LB, Alabama 6-2 #250

Big and physical enough to handle the strongside role in the 4-3
Physically imposing defender with good overall musculature and weight distribution. Has a thick lower body which aids in his anchoring against blockers. Seems to enjoy the physical nature of the game, aggressively taking on and shedding blockers at the point of attack

5 Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina 6-6 #320

Long-armed, athletic build well suited to playing the edge. Unique combination of size and overall athleticism. Good initial quickness when dropping back in pass protection. Strong upper body and heavy hands, which he uses to latch onto his opponent and often control him throughout the play. Gains depth on his initial kick-step and possesses the arm length and understanding of blocking angles to cut off rushing angles. Quick enough to recover when beaten initially due to his athleticism and arm length. Flashes some nastiness

6 Joe Kruger, DE, Utah 6-6 #269

Kruger has a tall, imposing frame with smooth movements for a big man, offering a versatile skill-set for the next level.
Tall, long body type with filled-out frame and good bulk throughout. Good natural strength with the hand and arm use to shed blocks. Closes in a flash like a bull seeing red. Quick feet and smooth movements in any direction. Good eye use and awareness to recognize and anticipate the action.

7 Rex Burkhead. RB, Neb 5-11 #211

He’s a pretty complete overall back with good vision, quickness, deceptive open-field speed, and nice overall power. Probably one of Burkhead’s best qualities would have to be his ability to get yardage after contact as well as running inside and outside

Jonathan Hankins: Good pick.. Probably can be our starting 1 Tech on day 1.. 18 may be a little bit high though.. trade back maybe and grab him.

Phillip Thomas: Round 2 might be a little high for him.. I like Swearinger and Cyprien much better and there is a chance we could grab one at 47.. Good player though with good ball skills.

Alvin Bailey: Great pick here.. 2nd rd talent in my opinion.. Will be a steal.. also will be our best interior lineman the day he gets to camp

Nico Johnson: Fine with this pick as well.. in round 4 I like the value

Brennan Williams: Great pick here as well.. People are sleeping on this kid.. think he can probably start at RT day 1.

Joe Krueger: Not really high on this kid.. getting a lot of love because of his brother.. in rd 6 I wouldn't complain though

Rex Burkhead: NOOOO.. this was a bad ending to one of my favorite mocks I have seen on here lol. Burkhead will not be in the league for more than a year or 2.. you cannot run 4.7 and be an NFL tailback.. But its round 7 so I can't cry over it.. Good draft overall.

I really like Hankins, but picking him at 18 is too fresh for my taste. And after checking up again on Thomas, I don't think he has much value at 47.

Agreed.

While I might not like where all of these guys are taken, I think this would be a pretty good haul. Nice mock
