love love love those first three picks, in fact thats almost a wet dream:eek::

I'm confused as to why people think Williams will last until our pick in the second. He's a rush DT who is ranked in the Top 20 on McSay's and Kiper's board. Players like him don't last until the second.

Hmm why 2 DE's in back to back rounds? I like the 1st 4 rounds but I'd take someone other than Buchanan in the 5th.

Kind of seems like cheating to put him at pick 47. Not much chance of that happening so why do it?

I'd love this draft if it did happen though.

Love this draft but I would change one of the DE's for a TE and I would eliminate Burkhead from the list.. There are better RB's that won't be drafted than Burkhead

because Buchanan is more a OLB

at #255 with 34" arms

Buchanan has a tall, long frame and uses his length effectively to keep linemen from his body before ripping past the initial block. He moves well laterally and has the foot athleticism to play in space and close quickly in pursuit. Buchanan doesn't have elite bulk and lacks the body type to add much more muscle and will be labeled by some teams as a hybrid player, but he has the skill-set to lead the conference in sacks as a senior and boost his draft stock.

Thats because only three Dts were taken in the 1st round last year. Poe, Cox, and Brockers and thats it. Kendall Reyes, Jerrel Worthy, and Devon Still were all talked about as possible 1st rounders but it did not happen. As a matter of fact all of them fell past where Dallas would be currently picking.

The year before that only 3 Dts went in the 1st round. Fairley, Luigett, and Taylor all went in the 1st. Again Marvin Austin, Jarvis Jenkins, Stephen Pea all fell to the 2nd round. Marvin Austin was being pimped as a 1st rounder and it did not happen.

This year Star Lotulei, Sharif Floyd, and Sheldon Richardson will all be picked before Williams. Short will go before Williams at the top of round 2 as he is younger and not maxed out in his physical growth. Williams will be there for the boys when they pick in the 2nd, book it.

agreed

OG in 1, DT in 2 and safety in 3 could net us 3 starters in first 3 rounds

S. Williams rankings have been all over the place. Over the past few month I've seen them from possible top-10 to the 3rd round.

Current rankings:

NFLDS: 95

Scout's Inc: 18

Ecstatic over the 1st two pics. But, no way Sylvester last until the 2nd rd. All for moving back up into the 1st to get him though.
