March 31st-what is your Cowboys pick in rd 1?

Trade down. I'd even take less than chart value if needed. The Cowboys need the extra pick that badly.
A 4th round pick and picking your first round pick in the late teens would not be smart. Especially in a draft that has so few graded first round players.

I think the team will go Shemar Stewart over Mykel Williams and Will Johnson.

Best guess.... Dallas will take OL, WR, or TE at 12.

I would trade down and take TWilliams while gaining a 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th.

Just 25 days out and 30 day visit list forthcoming, who do you got the Cowboys taking in rd 1?

MyKel Williams DE Georgia is my pick a month away.

Think they are looking to for their next DLaw. A balance strong-side Edge with rush upside. Could be him or Stewart is my guess at this time.

WHAT I WOULD DO: small trade back and land either a 2nd tier WR or DT.
With signing Dante Fowler, I do not believe a DE is going to be priority #1.

Oh brother. OK, the player they could get at 12 won't be better than if they traded down. The pool of players with equal grades will be enough to justify moving down and still getting one.

And trading down gets at least a 3rd not a 4th unless it's just a couple of spots.

We will find out quickly in round 1, if we are really committed to running the football.

It's called working the draft. Or are you opposed to picking up a player for free like Beebe last year?
No. I’m opposed to not getting value for trading down as implied by an earlier poster

People here as obsessed with trading down they are convincing themselves to take less value just to add a 4th rounder

We are obsessed with trading down, because we give away draft picks, with dumb unproductive trades. In addition, to not filling holes in FA and having more holes than draft picks.

The Cowboys have 10 picks they don’t need 12. The obsession that you guys have with getting a 4th round pick is over the top. The Cowboys are in a good position to get 3 quality players already. If some team offers a top 60 pick maybe you consider trade down but they have to overpay.

3 quality players, when we need 6.
