Marco Rivera - Jason Ferguson: Invisible Millionaires...

Scott, didn't you play Safety for Atlanta and Dallas, late 80's to mid 90's? You were horrible by the way.

Scott Case did play safety for Dallas, but he was not "horrible." he may had limited range - but he was arguably as athletic as Teague.

I guess this is your depth when discussing the Cowboys?

When dealing with someone that is always crying....it will do.

Fergy is doing ok, Rivera is not.

Rivera has been probably our worst lineman. The only thing he doesn't do is make penalties. He has not been getting much push in the run game and has been mediocre in pass blocking.
Oh, don't make me choose. If I had to say the worst, maybe Larry Allen. But that's just cause I remember how bad he was two and three years ago, I'm a sucker for a classic. Some people like to go with a rookie, classic, but I think a real terrible lineman has to not only suck, but suck in the clutch. So that makes Flozell Adams the obvious choice. I mean who else can come up with a play to kill a drive like Flozell, no one on a defense that's for sure.

Plaxico Burress is a monster. He got a lot of back-door "character police" negative hype from the Steelers so they could ruin his bargaining power. He's still just as dominant as ever-- if you throw to him!
For once, we agree on a receiver! Given that WRs tend to be prima donnas, Plaxico is really no worse than a lot of other guys and you're right, he is a monster.

Someone's obviously not been watching the same games - Fergy has been a beast in the middle. If you watch, you'll see him usually tied up with 2 or 3 OL on each play. This effort doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but should allow the other DL to make plays.

Riviera is another story - I will admit some disappointment, but in the back of my mind I'm still hoping it's a slow start due to the off-season back surgery.

Exactly right, Ferguson's job is not to get to the QB but stuff the inside and he is what we need in the middle...

I think we are getting predictable with line ups...sure felt like the Raiders were running down the gut when LaRoi was in the middle...glover is great but Ferguson is tougher in the middle. If zim and BP were smart, they would start to mix it up a bit...

Vertigo, you are dead on with Ferg and Rivera comments.:trophy:
