Wow - lets not kid ourselves here these guys have been Smellful!! Just terrible - I have not even heard JFerg's name called! Jay Ratliffe has been more productive!

Go watch the tapes! Misso Rivera has been torched! I cannot believe the blocks and run blitzes he's failed to pickup.

I'm sick now as I watch Plax burning up the NFC:mad:
Ferguson's had some big plays, he had some good run stops, and he also tipped a pass that got intercepted. Jeez, you guys need to chill on all this stuff. You're getting so delusional after a loss that you are gonna give yourselves ulcers, because of worrying about nothing.

Plaxico Burress is a monster. He got a lot of back-door "character police" negative hype from the Steelers so they could ruin his bargaining power. He's still just as dominant as ever-- if you throw to him!

That "character police" stuff is a LOT more than just "negative hype", it is the truth...

I have friends who work law enforcement down in the Virginia Beach area, and they are incapable of saying Plax's name without their lips curling into a sneer of contempt...

Bottom line, if even half the stories they told me are true, Plaxico Burress is a sociopathic punk... wild stories about him and his crew prowling the boardwalk, hassling tourists, even panhandling off of them (this is since he entered the NFL, so presumably he wasn't doing that for the MONEY)...

And it's quite laughable to call him "dominant", at any point in his career... his best year, 2002, he caught 78 passes for 1325 yards and 7 TDs... those are good numbers, but hardly "dominant"... and for his career, he averages 61 catches per 16 games played, and 970 yards receiving... again, good numbers, but calling that "dominant" play is a joke...

Regardless of how Ferguson and Rivera do in Dallas, we need to focus on building through the draft. It's the best way to improve overall and so far Parcells is on the right track in that department.

Next year, we'll probably target more LB's, OL and a true FS.

It's all coming together, but we have to be patient.

A young and talented defense is the first priority now. Without a great defense the team isn't going anywhere in January.

It makes me sick to think that we have Marco Rivera here for 4 more years after this season. Ferguson I still think is a good signing.

I think Rivera will get better as the season goes, his back is still recovering right? Fergie's doing what he should be, and is a good addition to the D, and without him, we dont switch to the 3-4.

Oh really? - Key and Glen are the oldest starting Duo in the NFL.

No Siree we are not...No Siree.

OLDEST, SCHMOLDEST,... are they warming the bench?? NO... Do they have TDs? YEP!! Game winners too! How is Crayton doing... pretty darn swell if you ask me??? The only TD last week was his and he had to make a helluva play to get it there too. No injuries to date... we still have a super TE in Witten... Don't burn down the barn if you don't like the paint job SC... Don't forget we have yet to break Price into a major game plan.

Someone's obviously not been watching the same games - Fergy has been a beast in the middle. If you watch, you'll see him usually tied up with 2 or 3 OL on each play. This effort doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but should allow the other DL to make plays.

Riviera is another story - I will admit some disappointment, but in the back of my mind I'm still hoping it's a slow start due to the off-season back surgery.

yep give the guy some time, he had pretty serious surgery. being a mentor to Pettitti is a nice touch also.

I haven't seen Ferg playing like a "beast." He's been ok but I haven't seen much penetration from either NT.

Fergy is doing ok, Rivera is not.

Rivera has been probably our worst lineman. The only thing he doesn't do is make penalties. He has not been getting much push in the run game and has been mediocre in pass blocking.
