I really wish he would take one for the team instead and just retire. Hell I wish Jerry Jones would reach a deal with him and agree to pay him his money under the table after he agrees to retire. He could pay pack his signing bonus and Mr. Jones could just slip it back to him when no one is looking.

Otherwise, for those of you counting how much is left under the cap, if released before June 1, he would count the $4.86 million all this year. So don't forget to allow for charges like these, along with at least $5 million for the draft when deciding how much is left to spend.

He might be better if healthy as a back up and mentor the
young guys.
