@JoshBDraft: TCU OL Marcus Cannon has testicular cancer. It's treatable if dealt with soon.

wow that sucks for him. I hope that doesn't hurt him to much but if it does maybe he falls to the 3rd or maybe even 4th. It's not that big of a deal if caught early. Look at Lance Armstrong.

Tell Marcus that!!

Going through all the pre-draft medical screening might have been a God send in regards to early detection. Most normal kids his age won't go to see the doctor unless they practically have a limb falling off.

Man, that sucks for him. Good thing he went through the screening process, however. Catch that stuff early and you can do some good things for it.

Wonder what's gonna happen to his draft status. He was one of the guys I wanted most in the draft.

Sorry to hear it. I hope he overcomes it. I still want him wearing a star on his helmet next season.

Me too. He doesn't have his fire, but Cannon's build and athleticism reminds of LA

I read late last night that Cannon doesn't even know yet..or he didn't at the time..the guy who broke the news, broke it specifically to let it reach to cannon..apparently none of the team docs have told him

what, thats makes no sense. How do you call yourself a doctor and find that someone has cancer and not tell them.

Now, that's messed up. You'd think a real doctor would inform the patient asap so he can get going on treatment/surgery
