Marcus Spears aka "M-Dot"

Spears should concentrate more on being a better football player and less on his rapping career.

More ignorance from someone whose only knowledge of rap is the garbage they see on TV.

You know it all, eh? I've got news for you. Choosing not to like something doesn't make you ignorant. I'm not ignoring music or facts. I hear it, I digest it and I find it lacking. I don't choose to listen to it because it irritates the crap out of me.

That's not ignorance...it's a person using their freedom of choice.

A thousand times yes.

Some of you need to get out more and take the stick out your arse while you are at it.

After all of the blubbering about nothing the main point is being missed. You are witnessing our D becoming more cohesive and it will pay major dividends as the season progresses.

Good point.

As a side note, his amateur free-style wasn't bad. I've heard worse on the radio.

I agree anything that brings the team closer together and helps with chemistry is a good thing. Personally I dont like rap music, but to each there own.

I'm 99% sure the "crap" that irritates you, irritates me. I'm a big Hip-Hop fan, but I stay away from all the watered down commercial stuff. Most people who hate Hip-Hop are only basing their opinion on lame southern pop rap records.

Well, if there are no guitars in it and the vocalist talks instead of singing I can almost guarantee I won't like it. But that's just me.

Not all lame rap originates out of the south... Being lame is not a regional thing. Just means they had no talent.

A lot of artists with no talent still get record deals. Talent isn't what appeals to most of the public, catchy beats and hooks do.

The divide between the genre that actually plays in the NFL, the music they listen to and some of the old farts that watch the players is quite comical.

Soldiers Boy's "Crank Dat" is absolute garbage for hip hop purists but it's a fun song. So far I've seen Clinton Portis, Hines Ward, Deion Branch, Devin Hester and others use some form of the dance on the field after scores....

This is kids having fun with the music and the game they grew up with.

Superman dat hoooooooooooooooooooo!!!! :lmao2:

Sorry but its acts like these, that gets a players head wondering away from football.

If he could sit there in a team meeting without having to think of words that rhyme like "ima steal yo cat, then hit yo *** wit a bat" then maybe he could be a more productive player in this league.

Right now im wondering "M-dots" head is.

Regardless to what type of music you listen to.... Rap, Metal, Country... these are mostly kids who have personalities interests and lives.... All players have interests off the field... Why are you singling out rap music? Get a clue man...

Ok, well, when a bunch of players get together in a circle, play air guitar and bang their heads we will talk crap about them.
