Marcus Trufant to be released -- could be a cheaper option than Carr or Finnegan if we get outbid. Anyone see him recently? I know he's on the back end but he could be a short term option

Not a single player on offense or defense?
Unless you mean Hamlin who hasn't played with us in years? Am I missing someone?

Muhast;4442637 said:I don't think he would be a much better option than Newman at this point. Both have been banged up. Newman is due 8million, Trufant was due 7 million. Barring him taking a small contract like (1.5-2 million) which I doubt he would take, I don't see him coming here.
I doubt Newman or Trufant are Cowboys. Both will look to catch on to a team where they get a decent pay day and can play a lot.

Pretty manageable, lets us make a big move for the O-line, solidifies the secondary and we'd be pretty flexible next year
