Wow.. .what a fight.
Cotto is a true Warrior and could have got on his bicycle last night for last 2 rounds and won via close decision. He was champ and Marguerito didnt do enough to win by decision over reigning champ imo.
BUT.... Cotto would do it.
He stood toe to toe and got blasted.
All night Marg applied constant pressure while never being hurt by a Cotto blow.
Finally Marg bloodied Cotto and his corner threw in the towel.
Great fight.
Props to Cotto... by Marg used the typical mexican approach ala Julio Caesar Chaves.... chop them down with body blows and relentless pressure.
