Murray helped his defense out a lot in the 2014 season.

Pretty sure he is qualified. Since he watches endless offensive game film for his defenses. How long has he been in the NFL doing that?

yeah mike was on earlier and echoed the same sentiment. best way to improve a defense is keep them off the field.

No, his input is obviously valuable. Just struck me as funny that our DC is putting in his two cents. Hey, why not? We've already heard from current players, former players, former players turned analysts, etc.

Some people thought losing murray wasn't the only thing to hurt the running game. Callahan was considered one of the better OL coaches.

Is it just me, or is corner not a priority position in Marinelli's defense? What matters to him is that guys are competitive and make plays on the ball. Tillman comes to mind. Is that a thing or did I just make that up?

Not necessarily. It's could be more of a case of the coaching staff (after discussion) presenting a unified front that is in opposition to the scouts' wishes.
