The so-called "bust" had 3.5 sacks against Denver on Thursday night football. I believe that gives him 13 on the season and 9 in the past 5 games. He looks like he reaching his potential...

Looks like the Texans made the right pick after all, and the real busts are Reggie Bush and Vince Young.

I remember BP saying before we played the Texans last year that he would have picked Mario Williams over Reggie Bush as well. At the time, I remember laughing at the thought, but now?

Not so much...

vince is dealing with the sophmore slump and madden curse at the same time.....along with poor receivers....however, they are still very much in the playoff hunt, and if they win out, they are in.

vince hasnt played very good this year, i can admit that as a vince homer. but i think he is and will be far better than vick.

Vince has to prove he can take the next step like Steve Young did.

Bush I think has been proven to have been totally over rated.

Williams is looking like the next Julius Peppers.

I'm not sure that Bush is overrated, but he certainly is not a traditional back of the NFL. He seems to me to be more of a Westbrook type of back.

Are you absolutely sure you would consider him to be over rated if Romo were throwing to him for touchdowns out of our backfield? I kinda think he would be a real weapon coming out of our backfield with Garrett calling the plays. I think a lot less likely if Parcells were at the helm and I am a Parcells fan.

Excuses for Bush. Brees is not exactly a poor QB. What a joke. Bush is NOT in Westbrooks class. Not even close.

And he certainly hasn't done anything to justify his hype and the amount of commercials he's been doing.

I would say Bush is overrated based on his hype coming out of USC. People were comparing him to Barry Sanders. He looks like a decent Westbrook type that will net 1,000-1,500 yards rushing and receiving, but right now he isn't even the best RB on his team (McCallister). And he is certainly no Barry (YPC is nearly 2.0 yards below Sanders' career average).

I am a UT guy, and I really like Vince Young, and you can't argue that they had a lot of success last year after he came in, and they're in the playoff hunt this year, but his stats last year and this season are pretty atrocious.
