I have hoped for a while that this was going to be the plan. That the only reason Julius ever saw the field was because we wanted to save Marion and get McBriar some work. There's no longer any reason to do that. Julius is as good as gone, so we need not placate him any more by letting him hamstring the offense by seeing the field.

Barber is already our primary back. It's time to phase Julius out almost completely.

I was a big JuJo backer but it has been very very obvious through December that Barber should be starting.

For the longest time I was ok with Julius starting because I figured he has the speed to break a long run to open up the game, but JJ has just flat out lost whatever it was that made him a dynamic player in 2004/2005.

Garrett is over rated in my opinion. The last month some of his calls have been horrible. Without TO he is average at best.
