Hey this is to those who say we have our future back in Barber. And who keep telling themselves that Marion is an every down back. Well he finally got the start and what happened? He played great in the first half and then died off in the 3rd quarter. Whats that? He didn't die off? Oh you say we went away from him... Hmm? You may be right there. Lets look at his 2nd half stats to see if we can find a reason they went away from him or if they really did go away from him at all.

2nd half plays for Barber only
01. 2 yards
02. 3 yards
03. 5 yards (His best of the half)
04. -2 yards
05. 3 yards
06. 3 yards
07. -1 yard
08. 2 yards
09. 4 yards
10. -1 yard

So he had 10 carries and not a one was over 5 yards actually 3 were for negative yards and 3 were for a weak 2 yards a carry. So in more then half of his second half carries he only had 2 yards. 2 yards in 6 carries? And that is our future? That is an every down back? HA
Now in no way am I saying that we should trade the farm for McFadden but he isn't our future. He can't even carry the team for 4 straight quarters in a home game during the playoffs AFTER A BYE WEEK! Oh yeah and lets not forget it was against a divisional rival that we beat twice that year with Jones as the starter.
I know the homers will act like they didn't even read this and just go on their merry little way acting as though we have our next great running back all because he had a 2 YARD run count them 2 YARDS! Thats right folks just 2 yards that run was against the PATS. Oh and just for the heck of it, IT WASN'T EVEN A FIRST DOWN! HA HA HA. Some people crack me up anyway back to what I was saying. If you are realistic please reply and tell me what you see that makes you think this guy who has never been a starter anywhere. Not in college not on the cowboys not even when he made the prowbowl. And when he finally did get his chance to prove himself he died in the 3rd. Tell me what you see in him that Parcells didn't?
Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing your responses.

So I was thinking about this last night and do you think if we do draft Ray Rice or Felix Jones should he be the starter and Marion be the change of pace? I mean it's obvious by his numbers that he isn't #1 material. You can say you can't judge that off of 1 game but I am judging this off of an entire career. College and Pro's. There must be a reason he never broke into that starting role and I think we all found out why in the playoff's, See stats above for details.

Where are all the Barber supporters? I mean all I hear is how he is such a beast and we don't need to draft a RB because we have our future back in Barber but when stats prove otherwise no one wants to comment?
So you guys really want to pay starter money to a 3rd down back? Thank God Jerry is smarter then the fans.
