That's a shame!! I wish the Barbarian the very best! When I first met my French now wife, it was difficult to teach her the game. It wasn't until that Barber run against the Patriots that the spark jumped in her. Now to this day she keeps 2 Marion Barber cards in her purse for good luck and she brings up obscure Cowboys conversations like "I think Noah Brown could take Butlers spot on the team." I have the Barbarian to thank for our healthy, Cowboys obsessed relationship!
:clap::clap::clap:
Cool story, Thanks:lmao::thumbup:

I think Zeke established his physicality last season. Now there is some good tape out there for defenders to see if you go high you might get popped and if you go low you might get hurdled. The threat is there either way so hopefully he can put that tool back in his chest and preserve his body, except occasionally when its necessary to do otherwise.
Can you imagine Zeke incorporating Emmett's jump-step? I've seen where he could've used it a few times last year when first contact was made at or behind the L.O.S.,,, I can wait a year or two for the spin move,but that jump-step would help immediately.

Marion Barber could have had a much longer career and enjoyed much better post career health had he been utilized properly.

Bill Parcels knew what he had, a utility guy who could give you ten plays of top effort performance. Parcells used him on short yardage situations, goal line, and 4th quarter close outs.

When Parcells left, Barber was named the starter but it takes a unique physical speciman to sustain that pace as the starter. It also takes elite speed to avoid the kind of hits that takes a toll on the body.

Barber had the heart but not the body, nor the speed. I think a lot of fans misunderstand the style of runners like Campbell...and Elliot.

They only take on defenders when they have to, they prefer to run through them. They can do both but prefer the latter.

However, Jones had just completed his new stadium and needed stars to promote the team playing there so he basically named Barber the starter and paid him accordingly. As Parcels knew, Barber quickly wore down as the season progressed. Used in this way, his career was drastically shortened as was his overall health.

Emmitt had a different style.

I totally agree, I said so at the time and took flack for it.
