i would like to see marion barber return kicks.

anyone?

I doubt he'll do any better than T. Thomson.

Sans his one fumble, which probably 9 out of 10 guys in the league would fumble away, Thompson has been a really good KR

I'd much rather see JJ return kicks, and Barber starting at the RB spot.

Won't happen. Julius is simply the better RB.

You would honestly bench a guy who just ran for 194 yards against the #4 run defense in the NFL behind one of the worst lines in the league for a rookie?

You're nuts.

Stop using facts :D

On some 3rd downs I would like to see both in the backfield. Marion is a better pas catcher and Julius is a better runner. It will keep the defense honest.

He's not as fast but he can make a tackler miss....put them both back there.

Oh yeah I watched it and he had an awesome game too bad the defense tried to give it away.

I happy that he ran for 194, I like JJ, but he is not a better RB than MBIII.
Our OLine was not the worse Line in the NFL, yes, at times the way they have played we all think they are but they are not.
Sunday in Carolina, they certainly did not play like a bad Oline.
Our Oline problem is above their shoulders.
With 32 carries MBIII would have put up about the same numbers, maybe minus the 43 yarder, he may have busted a 20 or 30 yarder.
He is more polished than JJ. He may not be faster or quicker, but he is a better RB than JJ, all the way around.

Maybe it will and maybe it won't, it really does not matter both are good backs.
Barber being better because he is more polished, and you can do more with him, in the game than you can with JJ.
Barber sees the field better, he is more patient, runs harde and with more determination, and from what I have seen all season he has this calmness about him when he is in the game. I like having him in there when it comes down to the nitty gritty.

Barber, was just a rookie this season, and he just brought something mentally that is needed , just imagine what he will be like next season or in the playoffs.

JJ, is simply working off of his speed and quickness, which is great to have, but you need more than that, and he still has not gotten that down yet, but he will.

I have to go with Barber he is the better back.
