Parson's flashed, Overshown flashed, in their rookie years, Liafau was meh. I hope the best for him and that he can take the next step and we see him "flash" like the other two.

I like Overshown, his only "flash" his rookie season was in pre season

Parsons was a 1st round pick who one of if not the best pass rushing DE in league.

Not sure using his flashes to compare to Liafau is really comparable.

Liafau is still a young player who I argue did show some flashes last year.

The constant negativity on this board about players is tedious at best. People bash them simply because they aren't one of the 1% of the 1% of all football players coming out of college. And I'm not saying your post was, I'm just adding this thought to my reply.

I hear you five-two. And for the record, Matt Eberflus will be our 4th DC since 2020. Mike Nolan (2020), Dan Quinn (21-23), Mike Zimmer (2024) and Eberflus (starting in 2025)

Eberflus will be Micah Parsons’ third DC in his 4 year career.

Defense has been the weakest link on this team for far too long. When you change coordinators like clothing, it’s hard to build continuity and confidence. Yes, I hope Eberflus is successful.

Yep, but Marinelli was here in 2019. Thats five in seven years, and I don’t know that any of them run similar schemes.

Probably at least part of why we often don’t seem to have the correct personnel to run the defense the DC du jour is trying to run.

Semi related…Mazi has been in four different schemes in the last four years…counting Michigan.

In fairness, the other 31 fanbases and engaging in the same kind of nonsense in regard to players on their favorite team’s roster. It is the off season. There’s better than 500 sure Hall of Famers in the NFL every June.

Right? Every team has "a guy" who's going to unleash his greatness this season. Dallas has an entire roster of future pro bowl players every June and our GM is among the very best.

People keep acting like this is just some pet project who had a few snaps

He played in every game last year and started 9. 50 total tackles, 30 solo, 1.5 sacks, 3 pass deflections, and 2 FF

These are good numbers for a rookie. He played about as well as you expected for a 3rd round guy that was considered a reach. Certainly someone to watch this season.
