Allows us to possibly move Church to LBer in the nickle package....@ least give us some flexibility w/ various lineups.

I'd be willing to give a 3rd.......since it's gonna be a high pick anyway. That would be like giving up a 4th. And we are gonna get a high comp pick for Hatcher. So why not get a player now that can step in and help in a playoff run instead of 6 months from now.....

The clock is ticking on Romo and you just never know how many more shots you might have to get this close to making a legit run deep into the playoffs

Doesn't make any sense at all.

The guy's not very good.

You would drop a 5th rounder for a guy of his caliber... not a 3rd.

I like Barron a lot and he brings a lot to the table and is young but we just don't have the room for him IMO. Let's roll with Church and Wilcox and see what shakes down.

Tampa is terrible and is looking at moving players and Barron might be worth a look - it would have to be for the right price. Has anyone seen enough of his play this season to comment on how he has done? Like specifically? Not just he's terrible, etc....

I was hoping he would drop to us when he was coming out of Bama a few years back. Maybe a change of scenery would do him some good?

No thanks he is not a very good safety. Would not be an upgrade for us.

Nope. But it does raise a question whether we might experiment a bit more with a S in some situations now that Durant is gone for the year. We also have Hamilton back now (though there's something going on with him they way the team is handling him), so there are options for playing with more Safeties on the field if we don't like the coverage options with the LB corps. I think we just roll with Hutchins, though, and hope he gets better and better with the reps. And hope Lawrence can give us something in terms of collapsing the pocket quicker than we've been able to do so far this season.

So basically you want the Morris Claiborne of safety's in that draft lol? Why would you trade draft picks for a caliber of a player you already have?

Buccs are wheeling and dealing. Shocked none of these trades involve Martin who they want to get rid of.

Nothing wrong w/ the Muscle Hamspter.....Tampa Bay is torching the place because....they can???o_O Talk about a franchise in free fall. This is kind of like Fantasy football in a way......when a guys season starts falling apart and he just starts dumping players....that's when heists happen.

Glad this trade did not happen. He isn't a cover guy and we really need to upgrade our pass rush.

I just said in another thread that I would go get him for a 4th and 6th and apparently the Rams went and did exactly that.
