We don't know the long term effects. Many an NFL player will be suing the NFL when they start experiencing nightmares of Jerry twenty years from now.

I am a MSU fan as my neice graduated from there. I like this guy a lot.

Haha your a sad cowboys fan. No I picked dallas to win today. If dallas wins next week great. But that shouldn't save Garrett. In my eyes Garrett needs a playoff win. He hasn't been a great coach. He has had three years and we keep getting the same thing year after year.
 
I follow MSU almost as closely as I follow the Cowboys. Dantonio instantly transformed that program. He gets a lot more out of less heralded recruits, he gets players to play as a team and his defenses are tenacious. If his skills translated to the pro game, he would be exactly what the Cowboys need. Would hate for the Spartans to lose him.
 
No thanks. The guy isn't anything special. The Big 10 has been down for several years now. He is 3-4 in bowl games. He has no NFL experience. There are many more better candidates.
 
Jerry was ready to fire Garrett yesterday I believe... Murray and Romo saved his job for another week.

I want either Lovie Smith or David Shaw.

It's not a stupid reason at all - the stress of coaching is very real. And, coaching in Dallas is a complete meat grinder in terms of pressure. Not the place for someone with a heart issue.

At one time, your concern would be valid, today a heart attack is not the issue it was just a few years ago. I had one a couple years ago and I have no ill effects from it. Healthcare has come a long way in that field.

I want someone who is a good leader and knows how to take advantage of all of these pick plays that teams are using.
