He's in the booth for a reason. Frankly, I got tired of him repeating "layered" passes 100,000 times.

I hate to sound like generic fan but I swear I see other teams do stuff offensively that Dallas never does or does well….BUT 10-3 is 10-3…..

He isn't the first announcer and both announcers also said that nomenclature is common across the NFL.

Sanchez made it sound like Blue and Red were fairly commonly used in the league to mean left and right. I dont think it was some secret code they learned by spending time at the team practice.

If it is common, why would you criticize its use?

Red (run to the right)
Blue (run to the left)

Both runs were stuffed for losses. Are our audibles that simplistic?
Greg Olson pointed that out in the past; however, in that game they were reversed (i.e. Red was left).

I've been telling everyone.....Garrett is still the head coach. He's like the deep state......He is coaching by proxy thru Kellen Moore. His fingerprints continue show up on the game planning every so often. McCarthy is only there go give the illusion of change. The Jonses could never fire family......Jason is the son Jerry never had.......

excellent, excellent example.

im surprised they were able to solve such a complex code change. That’s some next level stuff right there

Lol, too bad Mark Sanchez couldn’t read the defense when he played, lol easier to call stuff up in the booth.
Yes, it is. But it doesn't make him wrong.
People have different gifts. Michael Jordan was a great basketball coach but would, by his own admission, have made a lousy coach.
Many great coaches were lousy athletes.
Maybe Sanchez can see from the booth what he didn't have the ability to do or process in the game because he simply wasn't talented enough.
What we do know is he has more experience on the field and in the booth than you or I or anyone in here, so that makes him far more of an expert than anyone here. Shrug.

Probably... but they change the direction of the word... sometimes by the drive.

So one drive in the first they might call it Red and run Right.

In the second quarter, they might call Red and run Left.

Regardless, football is simple.

Are you really surprised? Everyone is able to see our playcalling from a mile away. It’s not that hard. Moore needs to be fired. And he needs to take Dak with him.

LMAO!!!! You never fail me when it comes to posts like this one. If EVERYONE is able to see our play calling a MILE AWAY, why didn't the Colts and the Vikings staff see it?

Switching gears a bit, but still under the heading of Mark Sanchez...

I like what I heard. He's pretty well suited for that job.

Exactly... it's been said many times during many games. Not just Cowboys games.
