How in the world has this guy won 4 playoff games and made 2 consecutive trips to the AFC championship game?

How the hell is he still starting??????

Another valid question. Why make the effort and pay Tebow the big money he's making just to sit on the bench? I mean I think Tebow is horrible, too but the writing was on the wall earlier. Sanchez is not the answer. Why not Tebow for the rest of this season?

I got no idea, talk about a fall from grace.

The guy is just flat out terrible at this point, needs to be benched.

It's almost like it's folly to credit a QB with the production of an entire team.

Yeah, it's not always about the QB. See Eli for an example of how mediocre a QB you can be and still win two Super Bowls.

Sanchez is not a starter in this league.

How in the WORLD is this guy still in the NFL, much less starting? I can't imagine a team would want him even to compete for a 3rd string spot unless they are desperate for depth.

Exhibit A on why people should not give QBs too much credit for playoff wins nor too much criticism for lack of same..

He's done! I don't think he's even backup QB material...

I agree, but he will get a chance somewhere at least as a backup. I highly doubt he and Rex Ryan ever work together again. One or both will be gone from the Jets after the season is over.

Buffalo, Jacksonville, San Diego, Cleveland, Kansas City, Oakland, and Carolina could all be looking for a new head coach this offseason. I wouldn't personally want Rex Ryan, but considering his previous success, I find it hard to believe one of them won't give him a shot.

Sanchez Wong be afforded the same luxury. The only way he ever starts an nfl game after this season in the case of an injury.

About time!

I can't believe they actually extended this guy before the season.

McElroy was inactive the last couple of games, right? Do they now have Sanchez or Tebow inactive this game?

Have no idea but still, they owe Sanchez $8mm next season and he is signed until 2016. Fine, let some scrub start the last 2 games of this meaningless season now but what do they do from here? They are in a mess at the QB position. Rex probably loses his job.

And I still think the Tebow signing was very odd. But it's what they like, the circus atmosphere they have. Because that's what it was when he signed there and really the Jets have been a circus act the last 3 or so years. It's cute when you are winning games and your coach is a loud mouth. Not so much these last few years when you are terrible.
