Think him and Lattimore and 1a/1b so if he falls to 28 he's probably the clear BPA and should be the pick considering the need at CB

Most well rounded corner in the class and checks all the boxes of a future #1 cb
Seen a mock that had us taking him and a couple that had him out of the first. Seems odd, and I dont buy it. I belive he is in the top tier of CB's. I think he may be our best fit at CB, especially if we are in fact moving to more zone. Humphrey can play any coverage, but he may be best as an alpha dog zone CB in the Sherman mold

This kid cant cover the long ball at all. And thats a fact, in his college career he had a 19yrd per avg catch on him. Thats a big red flag in the nfl because of the rules. They allow alot more contact in college then the nfl. His doesnt fit Dallas defense at all. Because they play to not allow the big play. Teams are going to go deep on this kid all day on sunday. Majority of the time its going to be a completion or a flag, mark that down.

Which is why he is probably slipping for the top half of round 1 to the bottom. I dont have as big of an issue with it if we going to run more zone coverage

Zone coverage is where he allows alot of them big plays. He needs to go to a team that plays alot of press cov.

Saban teaches his corners not to look for the ball in coverage. They are to continue running with the man. That's why you see Bama defensive backs get beat often. But Humphrey is a very good cover corner. He was a playmaker in high school, and I know he has the skills to cover top receivers. But Saban plays conservative on defense, particularly in the secondary. He'll make more of his share of interceptions if he's not covering a long time because of a lack of a pass rush.

If he's there at #28, I'd take him and not look back.
