Faulk simply cannot be taken serious as an analyst when talking about the Dallas Cowboys. Not because he doesn't believe in us; he's entirely entitled to that right. But because he sets out qualifiers like, "I won't believe Dallas is for real until ____," and then when Dallas does what he says he wants to see us do, he repeats the cycle the next week but with a different qualifier.

So this week it's that we haven't stopped a top-notch rusher, right? Next week it will be something else.

To that, I say whatever.

Faulk is a putrid hateful little SOB.

I would gladly tell him so to his face. I can't believe the NFL network (turd of a station) allows the fool to constantly be biased in all of his so called "Dallas" coverage.

It is sickening.

Adrian Peterson? I love AD and he is a warrior but I have followed him since he came out of HS and through Oklahoma and into the NFL and let me tell you RIGHT NOW.

He still has huge issues with holding on to the ball. Great runner, but he puts it on the carpet WAAYYYY to much.

That was my only issue while he was @ Oklahoma. He could tear your heart out sometimes in the most key situation w/ fumbling the ball away.

3 headed monster in Dallas is right.

I will take our running game right now over the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikes are going to pass 1st, you can believe that. They will use AD and Chester Taylor but they are passing (Favre) team first and I think they figured that out a few weeks ago.

Bring it.

Wasn't NO ranked like #2 in rushing when we played them? They were gonna present all kinds of trouble to our untested defense.....

Marshall's an idiot, but you cant really look at the N.O. game as a sign of how our running game is likely to be tested Sunday. We jumped on them early Offensively and made them one dimensional.

So Romo is going to look across the field at his boyhood idol and just totally freak out and start throwing picks all over the field???

Seriously???

Uh, hasn't Romo outplayed his boyhood idol once already? But he's going to suddenly freak out the second time?

It's an irresistible, made-for-TV storyline: Kid from small-town Wisconsin grows up idolizing Brett Favre and winds up facing his hero in an epic battle between two 10-1 teams with Super Bowl aspirations.

Cue the violin music and the baritone voice-over.

In reality, however, there's a hole in the two-hankie tale bigger than the one in the Texas Stadium roof.

See, Tony Romo grew up idolizing Michael Jordan. He rooted for John Elway in Super Bowl XXXII. At Burlington (Wis.) High School in the mid-1990s, when Favre fever was sweeping Wisconsin, he picked No. 16 as his football jersey number in honor of Joe Montana.

Romo never owned a No. 4 Packers jersey. He never wore a cheesehead

Really? C'mon guys...

One rule that is usually incorporated in 'codes of conduct' for messagte boards around the league has stuck with me for a long while. I'm new here, but I always abide by the guideline-- "Argue with the post, not the poster." Despite Faulk's seeming hatred for the boys this year (and I know it's been overwhelmingly ridiculous at times), he's not really out of line in this instance.

We HAVEN'T faced a back like Adrian Peterson. Faulk is right. They WILL run the ball. Again, Faulk is right. We are playing great against the pass. Faulk is right again. We haven't faced a balanced offense during our dominant defensive run, so this WILL be the most complete, and thus most difficult offense that we have and will face... that's just my two cents.

The only stupid thing Faulk said in this video is his whole "romo and his idol" bit. Seems like someone is forgetting a certain 2007 meeting where Favre looked like the amateur.

Geez... let's not be like Saints fans with their 'we're not getting enough love'/Jan Brady syndrome.

Who cares if Faulk believes in the Cowboys? They believe in themselves, and that's all that matters.

Don't these networks script these things? I mean ESPN will purposely hate on the Cowboys so they can get ratings. I see the NFL Network doing the same thing with a few analysts hating and couple others giving out some love.

They do it so you can tune in and watch after the game is over. Either happy or mad. They want ratings. People bag on ESPN, but they're the world wide leader for a reason. And to me, hating on the cowboys is clever marketing.

So for those of you who take offense to the so called "BSPN's" of television. Don't take it personal, they boost our ratings. So I actually thank them. :)

Actually, even Witten called him out leading up to the Packers/Boys showdown two years ago. That was after Tony denied being a cheesehead and claimed fanhood towards Elway.

Thanks for posting I am out of town this week and I am unable to download videos on my work comp. As far as the TV rating suggestion in this case I have to disagree..did you not see Faulk's face after the NO game? There was pure hate in them there eyes...even Chris B a pure iggles lover gave the boys their due for winning by saying How bout them cowboys...Faulk can not even allow himself to do that which is sad as a fan...when you get beat admit and move on...I BELIEVE in THIS TEAM GO COWBOYZ!!!
