While the Seahawks-49ers rivalry has tilted in favor of the team from Seattle, a visit from one of the team’s most recognizable players to San Francisco could create a problem or two.

A problem of some sort was indeed created on Friday night involving running back Marshawn Lynch. TMZ.com has video of Lynch involved in some sort of a scuffle outside a San Francisco bar. The video is hard to follow; TMZ.com claims based on an eyewitness that Lynch “got in a few punches.”

What are the benefits in today's society of getting into a physical altercation? I'll fill you in, there are none. Putting yourself in a position where there are only consequences makes someone an idiot. Unless you are physically attacked first and you defend yourself with no avenue of retreat, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Marshawn in the video.
