Yup, him and Greg Olsen our my two players to watch in the draft. Whereever they go that team will be so much better than they were last year.

Lynch at 22 would be very, very nice.

We would need to trade up to get in front of Green Bay to even have a chance.

I agree. This is the guy who is definitely and obviously better than Julius?

Seriously, I haven't seen Lynch much, but I thought JJ Arrington looked good for Cal, too. And he's been nothing. Does that concern anyone?

Lynch I believe had a great freshman year, when he was splitting time with, JJ Arrington, he's good but I would rather keep Jones.

Any other year Lynch would be a 2nd rounder if they had more good back in the draft, or better yethe would have been a 2nd rounder the year JJ came out and the year of the RBin 05....

That's all I'm saying. I'm not a Lynch aficionado, but if we're posting videos that are supposed to make us go "Hmmmm" (great song) that doesnt really do it for me.

You know what impresses me about that second one, now that i look at it again?

(a) it was a draw. Duh.

(b) TO was a HUGE part of that play. Maybe THE key part. Seeing him run the play down after making that block is pretty impressive.

When it comes to RB's, I appreciate more what you see every week. Does he produce every week or does he have one great game and 3 mediocre ones? Even more than the highlight plays, it can be the 3 yard runs that are most telling. Does he finish runs? What does he do if there isn't an obvious hole there? Does he punish the tackler or does he just surrender and collapse to the ground?

... not that I'm talking about anyone in particular.

What I like about both Peterson and Lynch is their balance, and they way they absorb hits and bounce off. That's what separates the men from the boys, so to speak. I tend to focus on that more than 360 spin moves and triple jukes, which leaves yardage on the field ten times for every one time that it works and makes a highlight real.

I figure he's one of the top 2 RB prospects for a reason. I just dont know enough about him to say that for myself. And if that video was supposed to convince me...

You can tell he runs nasty. But does he look much different than Barber out there?

That was my take. He got run down a lot.

He's got that Emmitt/Curtis Martin shift move where he makes a short shift in full stride without losing any speed. You think he's not making much of a move, but look at all the defenders that have a shot at him in the open field that have to resort to diving at air or just getting an arm on him.

pure talent,great fakes,strong runner,and has dreads.lol.

you know, i'd not mind seeing us try to upgrade the RB position overall. i like jujo and all, but i'm not really "sold" he's a long term answer. apparantely the cowboys are not either or we'd not hear trade rumors due to not wanting to pick up his high salary next year when his contract is up.

it does sound like we're going to do something here and i'd not cry if lynch wound up a cowboy.

Can he play backup QB if Romo goes down to injury so we're not subjected to Brad Johnson?

Sorry, wrong thread.

just look for anything started by fido or poppit - they start qb threads as if there's no tomorrow.
