I saw him in there a couple of times but wasn't used. I was hoping that he could get at least a couple of shots in today.

Maybe Garrett is saving some stuff for Monday Night... Despite not having Hurd or Austin out there:

Owens/Crayton/Witten: 17rec 265yds (15.6avg)
Stanback/Barber/Curtis/Choice: 7rec 55yds (7.9 avg) (Not huge numbers, but not bad for our #5WR, starting RB, #3 TE and #3 RB).

Hopefully next week we can get Bennett and Felix Jones in the mix as well!

Bennett had a huge block that created a hole on one of Felix's huge runs (don't remember which one).

I saw him go out for a route a couple times... but when T.O. and Witten are open every play, it's hard to get other people touches. :D

I liked the way we broke all the rookies in to the game, even Choice get playing time on offense. Playing Bennett in the situations we did and keeping him in on blocking assignments probably will help slow the game down for him sooner rather than later. (hopefully) Still, I would have liked to see him going out and run a pattern atleast once to give Garrett something to coach him up on this week. (Anyone see Bennett go out in a pass route?)

I saw Willie McGinnest throw Martelius down like he was his Female Dog on the goaline... but he was putting forth alot of effort trying to block

Exactly. There was one play where Romo hit Witten for a big gain. Bennett had beaten his man down the right seam with no one around. Had Romo been able to throw to Bennett it may have been a TD, but Romo had to slide to the left and the throw to Witten was an easier one and still a very good decision and result.
