The injured Witten had i very good game...I think Garrett Martellus would have used more
Was he injured before or during the game????
No receptions, lack of time; he has been a factor
vs the deadSkins...

I know some Italian, so allow me to translate:

Despite being injured, Witten played very well yesterday.
I think it would be most beneficial if Garrett would get Bennett involved more, but was he injured at some point? He had no receptions and no playing time. Too bad, since he was a factor vs the Commanders of Washington.

go easy on the OP,,, he's from Italy so the language isn't perfect, but pretty good considering!

I think Martellus is fine, he just wan't targeted by Romo yesterday,,,,

My thoughts as well.

really would have liked to have seen that TE screen go to Bennett than Witten

No doubt!! That play call had me cursing Garrett's name,,, I can only surmise that he gave up on getting the first down and just wanted a few yards to help out Folk(which failed anyway), but GEEZ, a behind-the-LOS screen pass to our slowest and worst open field runner? Really?

Garrett just wanted to remind Romo and company that he's still the boss when it comes to the offensive play calling...:D

When I see non-sensical plays like that I wonder if it's just a throw-away play to mask play-calling tendencies.

It was on a 3rd and 20+. There are no play calls for that but just plays to get some yardage back.

Is this an act or are you really this ignorant?

to me after all the hype in camp about him Bennett has been the most disapointing Cowboy this year.

I agree and I have been saying it for weeks.

All the hype about "Mismatches" and such was just BS. Nearly matched by the secrecy regarding the Wildshat, it's pretty pathetic to look at the results and wonder where the disconnect was at. Sure, sure, Choice ripped off a long one but that's the kind of expectations you would like to see consistently when the team stamps talk of that formation as classified.

I will say this though, I actually saw Bennett get split out wide the other day. Previously, Jon Phillips was getting more of that action than Martellus would and every time I saw it, I would just shake my head.

Red has screwed the pooch on Bennett. There have been a few goal line series where Bennett didn't even see the field. How do you have him on the bench like that? He can block as good as anybody else out there and he literally towers over everyone else.

Big, big, big letdown.

Bennett wasnt on the field near as much this game. We went heavy with the f.b instead of a second t.e to take advantage of Oaklands weakness up the middle against the run.

Simple, clear explanation.:hammer: Bennett is just one of the weapons that this team has. The Oakland LB's aren't much to talk about and Tyvon Branch (Safety) is their leading tackler. When your Safety is getting most of the tackles, then RB's are getting upfield before they're contacted. It's no wonder that the Boys got big plays from the running game. I look forward to seeing Bennett in different situations.
