“Romo isn’t in the same league as Eli Manning. Not even close,” Bennett was overheard saying at a New York restaurant.

According to the New York Post, Bennett made the statement to a waiter while he and teammate Michael Coe were dining at the Old Homestead Steakhouse.

I mean, it isn't surprising. Just thought people would be somewhat interested, and just to make everyone hate him even more.

Marty B may be the most butthurt, bitter player I've ever seen.

This thread ought to be good for a bunch of keyboard commandos and Romo fanboys to try to justify why they're right and a professional football player who has played on teams with both quarterbacks has no idea what he is talking about.

Wow...ya, no reason for MB to say that Eli is better. Nope, no reason at all.

When it comes to crunch time, it's hard to touch Eli, he's got two Superbowls....he's got a football mind.

Giants should tell this clown to shut his mouth. What has he done in his career to be able to run his mouth like he has...

The dislike of Bennett for many of the folks on the Zone have no bearing on Romo.

Bennett became a target after Hard Knocks and since then he's been persona non grata.

He could say the sky was blue and he would get bashed because it wasn't the correct shade.

He's just not liked on here and it doesn't have a thing to do with Eli or Romo.

However, the more he talks, about ANYTHING, it makes those who don't like him, dislike him even more.

He's in the right organization, tho. The Giants have always been a bunch of talkers, so he fits right in.

Butthurt lol I'm guessing you watch workaholics which a hilarious show.

But who cares what Bennett says. He'll still be insignificant. Romo will win a Super Bowl and Marty will start riding his coat tails then too

Ahhhh I was about to say the same thing. It's also hilarious he shows up 3 weeks after his team losing to Romo and the Cowboys.
