I'm just stunned that our fans would treat our own players like this.
If you're gonna act a fool at least choose a redsk*ns or giants player to pick on :laugh2:

hey hey I called him twice.

There must be someone else calling him those twenty times, although i buttdialed him for 4 minutes LMAO. I txted him an apology and made his name in my phone 52H5235donotcall so I don't butt dial.

I asked him if he learned how to catch the ball from TO or from Roy Williams. I think I was kicked off shortly after that.

for the record: I love Martellus

but that was funny

I agree, it isn't as if Marty B has been a focal point of our offense this season...In fact, even Witten has been relatively quiet as our #1 tight end. However, Marty B has been VERY good for us at run and pass blocking, which is exactly what he has been asked to do for us this year. He plays something like 70-80% of the offensive snaps, although he isn't used as a receiver very often. But just because you don't see him catching passes, doesn't mean he isn't contributing.

You want to see someone who HASN'T been doing what our team expects of him...look in the direction of #11.

88 catches (3rd in the NFC) is not relatively quiet, i think we're just getting to used to him doing this every year to notice how good of a year he's actually having.

He had 81 all of last season btw

Yeah, I realize that...Although Witten had a pretty tame year by our standards last year as well...because of the Romo injury and Me.O. who wanted the ball so often. Witten is an absolute STUD and still a big part of our offense, no doubt, I'm just saying that he hasn't been as big of a part of our offense as he was two years ago, because of receivers like Austin and Williams (unfortunately), who have been targeted quite a few times as well. Because of that, Bennett's chunk of the passing plays is even harder to get, being that he is our second TE. I realize that he only has 10 catches, but he's been thrown to under 20 times as well.

But yeah I agree, we are spoiled having such a great TE like Witten, that when our second TE isn't putting up similar stats we are easily disappointed.

Marty B. is a great TE with immense potential, I believe he will not reach it here in Dallas and he will become the face of another franchise, he has that "Ochocinco" personality which drives fans nuts in love of the player, or crazy in hate of them.

I like Marty B. but anyone who thinks he will be our next TE is fooling themselves, as is anyone who believes John Phillips is our next TE, Witten is in his 7th season, he could easily play another 5-6, Marty B would already be as seniored as Witten is now when he would start? Heck no. John Phillips is more of a possibility because of that 1 year younger difference, but still improbable.
