this morning he was awful. they should cut the fans official pregame show down to an hour.

I rarely get to listen to Dallas radio, but I tried listening to this station on my way home after the game because the Ticket signal was crap and 103.3 wasn't talking Cowboys due to the baseball game.

Holy cripes this station is terrible. Larry Brown is an idiot.

Bennett boycotting Cowboys flagship station

Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett apparently is feuding with the team's flagship radio station.

In a recent post on Twitter, Bennett wrote: "Boycotting 105.3 the fan for hating. Will no longer tune in or listen to em niether (sic) should yall. Go TicketRadio."

According to DCFanatic Radio host Brian Gallagher, Cowboys radio voice Brad Sham said during last Sunday's pre-game show that the word is the second-year player from Texas A&M has regressed in his work habits and focus.

Bennett is lucky he doesn't play for someone like Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, who publicly called RB Rashard Mendenhall out for not learning his playbook and then benched him for a game.

(UPDATE: Gallagher says Bennett's boycott stems from comments made about him by the hosts of "The Barsky & Gregg Show.")

Go Marty B! They are indeed absymal.

I think 103.3 with Coach Joe and Pat Summerall is pretty good (even if that Ian Fitzsimmons tool hurts them - he should join The Fan) and the Ticket with Sturm and Archer is pure gold.

The Fan is a disgrace as the Offical Station. I'm sure they'll have fun all week talking about how bad the team sucks after this win, though.

the Fan started out pretty good....now its unlistenable.....

they start with Jager in morn .....not a sports guy.......

then Newy and Richie Witt....they pick one subject (which is usually that Wade sux...original.i know)...really hard to listen to same subject for 3 hours...Newy was good when he was teamed with Salisbury.....

then Barsky and Greg.......Detroit and Philly guys.....and they sound and act like it too........very bad

How will it haunt us? There's no guarantee that anyone we would have picked would have helped anyway.

Bennett is a good player, thats why somebody wants him. He has a very key role here. Witten catches a ton of passes and takes alot of big hits, if something happens to him and he misses time, Bennett is a starter quality TE who you can still feature in the passing game. He's also an outstanding blocker. Phillips is a nice 3rd TE, but he is nowhere near the receiving threat or blocker than Witten and Bennett are.

I dont care what we would have got for Bennett, had he went somewhere else and immediately started catching 5-6-7 passes a game and making plays, you people would have crucified Jones and the Cowboys for letting him go.
