Bum favored jerry , as he was the low bid , but was going to fire landry and bum wanted that.
Bum wasnt too smart, only about 5 years later Wash sold for 500 million.
And for the cowboys, 140 mil was way too low even for 89.

Little unfair, Washington was coming off of a very recent SB win, and their fall was more due to the new ownership, Dallas was old and bereft of young talent across the board, Irvin was coming back from a broken leg and Dallas was going to draft a highly touted but unproven Troy Aikman. If it was not for the Walker trade who knows how Dallas would have looked.
